Academic Program
Nita Primary follows the Government Primary School Curriculum and we add in English and computer.
However students have to attend extra and remedial classes during their summer break if they do not perform well in their term examinations.
Monthly tests and Mid term examinations
Nita Primary organizes monthly tests during the last week of each month to assess the performance of each student on the subject matter studied in that month. Starting from next school term (2005 ~ 2006), we plan to let those students who obtain less than 60% in this test to attend detention or tuition classes to rectify their weaknesses.
Students who have achieved high scores are being rewarded.
There will be two term examinations held according to Ministry of Education to assess the overall performance of the child throughout the year.The reports for the 7 monthly tests and 2 term examinations are sent to parents and are invited to discuss their child's progress
with their teachers.
Leadership Camps
In next school term, we plan to have regular leadership camps to conduct interactive leadership games and activities to develop a well rounded personality.
Computer Skills
Interactive computer literacy program that teaches basic computer skill.
Counseling
Starting next school term, student who are weak will be given regular counseling to improve their performance
Tuition
Students who are weak in study can take up tuition by paying anominal fee. Tuition are from Monday to Friday 5pm to 6pm.
School Hours
Monday - Friday : 8.00am to 4.00pm
Registration
Registration is open every year between June and August. However on a case to case basic, applications will be accepted subject to seat availability and appropriate reasons.
To Register :
Submit application to the admissions officeCollect an acceptance letter confirming the seat in the school. Parents must then purchase books and uniforms from the book shop in August.
Collect an admissions package for a complete understanding of the school and its policies including rules booklet and homework booklet. Parents must ensure that their children observe the school rules and regulation
Placement Tests. ( bring it up before the registration)
All new students from other school must sit for placement tests to identify their level of standard. According to their grading, the school will organize remedial classes to improve them.
